Costing and Budget Control
Job Description
- Maintaining standard costs of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Producing monthly material costs and reconciliation.
- Analyzing all costs (direct, selling & distribution, operational)
- Managing the budgets around all costing issues and providing variance analysis
- Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems about labour, production methods and
material supply - Ensuring all costs are identified and recorded accurately
- Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stocktakes and cycle counts
- Analysing the P&L and balance sheet accounts to understand the main cost drivers of the business and how they compare to the approved budget.
- Play an active role in costing new products and any future projects.
- Educating the Operational and Production teams on the management of costs.
- Preparing budget reports
- Management of Accounts payable
